In one year I conquered my first year of college. I lived through all the crazy experiences of the dorm, the new freedom and choices of being 2000 miles away from home, and the many times where I just needed my mom. Now I'm embarking on another one year journey. One year to plan a wedding. One year to become a grown up. One year to trust that God is going to provided for me and my future husband. What these two years have in common is I still need my mom. Its so weird to be planning a wedding with her 2000 miles away. I know we will do it and everything will be fine, and I will look forward to the few times we will be able to see eachother.
Today it is currently sunny 90 degrees and humid with a pretty good chance of rain. I'm crossing my fingers for a week like last week for next year. The weather was beautiful and in the 70s and 80s (how lucky would we be?!). Matt said he is going to look in the farmers almanac so we can anticipate what to except next year.
Right now it is 10am. I wonder what I will be doing, what I will be feeling at this time in one year. It is so crazy to me. I'm so excited to be on this journey and can't wait to see what God has planned for our lifes!
